Alpine climbing tours

Alpine climbing has always characterized the Blaueis area. Already at the beginning of the last century, the first Blaueishüttenwirt Raphael Hang undertook daring climbs such as the Rotpalfenriß (VI), Rotpalfen Südwand (V-), or Hochkalter Ostwand (VI).
Today there are about 30 alpine tours in the Blaueis in all categories, i.e. from the "Plattenweg" (III), which is best suited for beginners, to more demanding tours like "Die Glorreichen Sieben" (VI-), to the highest levels of difficulty like "Wellenreiter" (VIII-) or "Die Seele brennt" (IX-/IX).
