Infos for trainers

The terrain around the hut offers a wide range of possibilities for perfect training. There are four climbing gardens in the immediate vicinity of the hut, numerous sport and alpine climbing tours. Most of the larger boulders are also insured. In order to be able to train belaying, etc., composite hooks have been placed at the base of the walls in the climbing gardens. To bridge bad weather days a visit to the climbing hall of the Kletterhalle des DAV Berchtesgaden  can be worthwhile. Equipment and ropes can be rented there.

Training rooms

There are three guest rooms in the Blaueishütte, two of which can be used for training (outside meal times). Two rooms are equipped with beamer and screen. A flipchart is available, please bring your own PC / tablet. In case of a very large workload, the instructors should agree among themselves who would like to use the training room and when.

Discount for DAV - instructors

According to the 5+1 regulation of the DAV, the course leader (DAV trainer) can be exempted from the accommodation costs. Please note that for this, at least five course participants must be present on your section tour for the entire course period and a valid trainer's ID must be presented.

Catering

Breakfast from 6:00 to 8:00. Taking food for the day is possible for an extra charge. Tea water or marching tea is included at breakfast. Half board is available at 18:30, here please be on time with the group at the table. Half board can only be booked in groups: i.e. the whole group eats the HP menu in the evening or the whole group chooses the small evening variant (from 16:00-19:30 there is a selection of soups and stews in addition to the HP). Punctually at 22:00 o'clock is with us hut rest. After 22:00 a stay in the guest room is not possible because for the breakfast must be covered.

Lodging

Of course, we try to accommodate the groups in each case together and as far as possible alone, on request also the course instructor in a separate room. However, in case of high occupancy, all places will be used.

Internet

We offer our guests a paid Wi-Fi access. You can get a ticket for this at the counter.

Organization of billing

There is a possibility to pay the consumption at the end of the stay. Upon arrival, each guest who wishes to do so receives a chip card on which the consumption is stored. Of course, an interim invoice can be made at any time. Cashless payment is also possible. In order to get the cheaper DAV price for the overnight stay, it is necessary that each participant can present his valid DAV ID and photo ID, this also applies to section tours. Please bring it with you to the counter when you check in..
