The arrival to the hut

The Blaueishütte is located in the Berchtesgaden Alps in the Hochkalter area. The valley town is the mountaineering village Ramsau near Berchtesgaden..

Hut ascents

• Ascent from Ramsau Ort/ Pfeifenmacherbrücke, ca. 3 hours  
• Ascent from Ramsau/Ortsteil Hintersee, ca. 2,5 hours               

Both variants are easy mountain trails. (Classification "blue")

Arrival by car

Parking for the two hut ascents:

• Ascent from Ramsau/Ort : Parkplatz "Pfeiffenmacherbrücke" (chargeable) (N 47° 36´43" / E 12° 53´25" ; W3W: gewogen.dusche.seilen)
• Ascent from Ramsau/Ortsteil Hintersee: unsigned parking lot at the bus stop "Holzlagerplatz" (free of charge) oder Parkplatz "Seeklause" am Hintersee (chargeable) (N 47° 36´35" / E 12°51´71" ; W3W: öffnet.radweg.zurück). The "Parkster" app can be used for the paid parking spaces. We recommend carpooling or arriving by public transport

Arrival by bus/train

By train to Berchtesgaden train station, from there with the RVO bus line 846 in the direction of Ramsau/Hintersee. The bus stop "Holzlagerplatz" is located directly at the beginning of the hut access.
